Kate Hudson leaned into the knee-high white boot trend in New York City on Tuesday, using a slouchy stiletto pair as the starting point for her latest winter look.
The “Song Sung Blue” star’s boots featured smooth white leather, a sharply pointed toe and a slim high heel. The shaft rose to just below the knee and showed light creasing through the ankle and lower calf, so the shape read structured but still easy. A pale sole and matching wrapped heel kept the boots in a single shade of white, with no visible hardware along the sides.

A full-length fur coat framed the boots. The outerwear piece fell nearly to the ground and featured vertical panels of plush fur, with a high collar and wide sleeves. Hudson piled the luxe fur over a patchwork-style skirt in gray and oatmeal panels with a raw-edged hem. A small ivory shearling shoulder bag with gold hardware and a slim strap picked up the boots’ creamy tone.
Knee-high white boots have had a steady run across celebrity wardrobes this season. Over the weekend, Simone Biles wore a bright pair with a pointed toe and a sharp front crease while cheering on husband Jonathan Owens at the Chicago Bears vs. Cleveland Browns game, one of several white accents that popped against her custom blue fur coat. Ashanti added a different spin earlier in the month at Philadelphia’s Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration, performing in croc-embossed off-white boots with a slightly slouchy shaft, elongated pointed toe and flared high heel that matched her all-white stage look. In November, Charli XCX turned to white, side-laced Alexander McQueen boots from the spring 2026 collection for her “Chains of Love” video, a runway style with a rounded toe, curved heel and dense back lacing.

Hudson’s recent press looks have included a range of boot finishes beyond white. In late October, she chose chocolate suede calf boots with a pointed toe and slouched shaft for a Los Angeles screening of “Song Sung Blue,” and in mid-November she switched to Tory Burch’s cognac Twisted-Heel High Boots with a softened square toe. The New York outing simply added a knee-high white option to that mix as “Song Sung Blue” continued its December circuit. Even though Hudson mixes it up when it comes to the color of her footwear, she and other celebrities clearly have a penchant for crispy white shoes.
