Kane Footwear announced its official partnership with Yeti Boo on Thursday. The shoe brand has also added the AI internet personality to their Kane Athlete roster, which includes ultra marathoner Matt Johnson, Peloton instructor Olivia Amato, and more.
The brand shared the news on Instagram along with a video of Yeti and a series of photos of him modeling its Kane Revive AC shoe. “We just signed the undisputed greatest mountain athlete of all time: Yeti Boo (aka the AI Yeti). Maybe he’s the world’s greatest winter athlete. Maybe he’s the first-ever AI athlete,” the brand shared in the post’s caption.
“One thing we do know: he recovers in The World’s Toughest Recovery Shoe. We’ve teamed up with Yeti Boo to have some fun and demonstrate exactly what makes the Revive AC built for legendary recovery. That’s real. Welcome to the Kane team, Yeti Boo. This is gonna be fun.”
The Yeti’s organic interest in the Kane Revive AC inspired the partnership and collaboration. created a custom size 43 Revive AC for extensive Yeti wear testing, which the brand says included wandering for days, running from hikers, snowball fights, and sleeping in below-freezing temperatures.
“I’ve really put the Revive AC to the test,” Yeti Boo said in a statement shared by the brand. “As an all-conditions athlete, it doesn’t matter if there are blizzards, ice storms, or avalanches — recovery remains my priority so I can stay jacked. No other recovery shoe is built for the snow, sleet, rain, mud and cold while keeping me comfortable all-day as I explore the woods for hundreds of miles.”
The Yeti-approved Kane Revive AC follows the original Kane Revive, and features enhanced all-conditions features, including a rubberized outsole that provides increased traction, with 2.65mm treads for traversing icy, mountainous terrain. The shoe also features a sewn-in Neoprene collar that locks in warmth while shielding against the elements.
The shoes feature a lightweight slip-on design that comfortably captures heel, arch and instep for all-day outdoor support. The shoes also come with nylon grosgrain tabs at the front and back for easy on-and-off wear, and feature reflective detailing on the front tab that will make the shoes easier to spot from a distance.
The shoes are made with a debossed hole pattern on the upper to promote breathability and ensure a dry environment to protect the feet from getting wet. The shoes are made with raised footbed nodes to activate blood flow and pressure points to promote recovery for the feet and legs.
The Kane Revive and Revive AC are made with bio-based RestoreFoam, created from Brazilian sugarcane, and integrate principles of active recovery to renew the body through stimulation, circulation and blood flow. The recovery shoe is available for purchase at kanefootwear.com and retails for $120.
The shoes are also available in black.
