Kacey Musgraves joined a bevy of the biggest stars in country music for the 2024 CMA Awards on Wednesday in Nashville, Tenn. The “Deeper Well” artist celebrated her three nominations for the evening and put a textured and embellished spin on denim for her red carpet arrival.
Musgraves chose a denim midi dress by Georges Hobeika for the occasion. The dress featured a fitted silhouette and was adorned with teardrop beads that glittered under the flashing lights of cameras on the red carpet.
Musgraves’ cornflower blue outfit featured textural contrast with beaded details on the skirt and bodice, while the long sleeves boasted voluminous feathers. She also put her own twist on the peekaboo bra trend, opting for fabric-only cups without bead work.
Musgraves completed the ensemble with pointed-toe nude pumps. The “Heart of the Woods” songstress’ raven black hair was styled in a middle part with subtle waves cascading down her back. Her makeup featured her signature smokey eye and bold brows, along with a soft berry lip.
Musgraves’ album “Deeper Well” debuted last March, sparking several collaborations for the country music artist. In February, she teamed up again with Boy Smells founder Matthew Herman to create a “Deeper Well” candle inspired by the album.
That same month, Musgraves partnered with Etsy on an exclusive, multi-phased collaboration. “Etsy is a place I return to for inspiration in many facets of my life, and while making this album I kept saving pieces that felt like a true reflection of where my head was at aesthetically,” Musgraves told WWD of the Etsy collaboration.
The 57th Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson, celebrates country music stars’ achievements in the genre. Morgan Wallen is nominated for seven awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Performers for the evening include Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton and Post Malone, among others.
