JW Anderson Fall 2026 Ready to Wear Runway, Fashion Show & Collection Review

WWD photo editors were stopped in their tracks processing look book photos for JW Anderson’s fall 2026 collection, encountering brass peaches, wooden mice and clothing brushes interspersed among fashion looks worn by the likes of singer Kylie Minogue, actor Justin Vivian Bond and model Mona Tougaard.

This is the second season reflecting Jonathan Anderson’s new approach to his signature brand, a freewheeling curation of assorted things the designer loves, including ceramics and other homewares, objects, gardening tools and artworks and alongside clothing and accessories, of course.

“The format seems to be working,” reported Jenny Galimberti, chief executive officer of JW Anderson, citing rapid sellouts of Nicholas Mosse tableware and antique scissors alongside staple fashion styles including twisted jeans, fold-over trousers and sweaters knitted to resemble a house. “There’s a lot of things gaining traction, the year ended very positively and 2026 is kicking off very nicely.”

Last September, as he acclimatized to being at the creative helm of Dior, Anderson pivoted to this new strategy for his own brand hinged on heritage, craft and his other personal passions. Cue revamped stores in Milan, London’s Soho district and a vast, homewares-focused outpost on the British capital’s Pimlico Road that opened last month.

“We’re definitely gaining new customers every day,” Galimberti said, noting that’s especially the case on Pimlico Road, where JW Anderson is the lone fashion brand amid an impressive row of proper interiors experts.

The fall 2026 fashion collection featured familiar fashion archetypes, including knotted dresses, bomber jackets and what the press notes called “not so basic basics.” There were also new iterations of the Loafer bag and Anchor tote — all of this modeled by a quirky cast that included fashion writers and stylists, actors and artists, some wielding pitchforks.

Galimberti revealed she’s on the hunt for real estate in New York and Paris for the next JW Anderson emporiums.

The brand also plans to display the fall 2026 collection — along with cushions, table linens, stools and chairs — at a store-like showroom during Paris Couture Week.
