Johanna Ortiz, the Colombian luxury designer, has struck an exclusive partnership with The Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach, Fla. She will take over Casa by Brazilian Court, the hotel’s signature retail space, beginning Thursday.
Known for her signature blend of feminine silhouettes, exquisite prints, sophisticated tailoring and craftsmanship, Ortiz will make The Brazilian Court Hotel home for her exclusive Palm Beach presence. A longtime friend of the property, Ortiz most recently brought her immersive world to the hotel during last year’s weeklong collaboration with Moda Operandi, transforming the space into a vibrant celebration of Latin spirit and craftsmanship. Now that experience has evolved into a permanent home.
“I am excited to share the spirit of Latin elegance with the Palm Beach community and to create a space where guests can truly connect with our designs in a meaningful way — stepping fully into the JO lifestyle,” said Joanna Ortiz. “The Brazilian Court has long felt like a natural home for us. It’s timeless glamour, intimate charm and subtle island allure resonate beautifully with our aesthetic.”

“We’re honored to welcome Johanna Ortiz to Casa by Brazilian Court,” said Bobby Schlesinger, co-owner of The Brazilian Court Hotel. “Her artistry and global perspective align seamlessly with the spirit of our hotel. We’re delighted to offer our guess and the Palm beach community a distinctive destination to experience her world on the island.”
