Jodie Comer launched the “28 Years Later” press tour earlier this week, with appearances in New York and Paris — calm, calculated moments of style before the on-screen mayhem.
From a sharply tailored Calvin Klein sheath to oversize menswear-inspired ensembles and monochrome draping, the Emmy-winning actress kept her footwear in conversation with the overall silhouette.
Strappy metallic stilettos paired with high-gloss fabric panels, while matte kitten heels and flat leather mules grounded the softer tailoring. The effect was not overtly referential, but each look maintained a consistent balance, where the shoe never competed, but always reinforced form, tone or finish.

On Monday, Comer opted for a structured olive green midi dress from Calvin Klein’s fall 2025 collection while in New York City promoting the film. The sleeveless dress featured a rounded neckline, fitted bodice and paneled skirt in contrasting textures — matte above and high-sheen below the hip.

She paired it with metallic gold stiletto sandals, which featured a single front strap, slim slingback and minimalist sole. The shoes mirrored the sheen of the lower skirt panel and extended the clean, architectural tone of the look. Dark sunglasses and minimal jewelry kept the focus on silhouette and surface.

Later on Monday, in TriBeCa, Comer opted for a relaxed silhouette with an oversize light gray button-down — sleeves rolled and buttons undone — worn over brown wide-leg trousers. It was a more casual take on a silhouette she’s worn before at the 2024 SCAD Savannah Film Festival, where she paired a boxy blazer with rolled-up sleeves with a Prada jumpsuit.
On foot, she chose flat black suede mules with a low vamp and rounded toe, offering a clean counterpoint to the fluid proportions above. She kept her accessories to a minimum: dark sunglasses and subtle jewelry.

At the Paris photocall for “28 Years Later” on Wednesday, Comer wore a black draped dress with an asymmetric neckline and gold detailing. She accessorized the look with silver earrings and cat-eye sunglasses, which she took off for photographs alongside her costar, Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

“28 Years Later,” the upcoming post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle. A continuation of 2002’s “28 Days Later” and its 2007 sequel, “28 Weeks Later,” the film follows a group of survivors nearly three decades after a virus devastates the planet. Comer stars opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The film hits theaters on June 20.
