Jill Biden’s Latest Winter Look for White House Return With Joe Biden

Jill Biden bundled up for the chilly wintertime weather upon her return to the White House in Washington, D.C., on Thursday. The first lady of the United States was joined by her husband, President Joe Biden. The two arrived at the White House after enjoying the holidays in Delaware and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Jill Biden opted for an elevated take on cozy winter attire, wearing a black coat with long sleeves, sharp shoulders and long silhouette. The garment completely covered the rest of Biden’s attire she wore beneath the coat.

Along with the black coat, Biden accessorized with a pop of color. The first lady wore a cobalt blue scarf, which was snuggly wrapped around her neck. Biden also wore a pair of black gloves. Continuing the motif, she wore black tights and black shoes.

The finishing touches to her wintertime-inspired ensemble were her accessories. Biden carried a top-handle black purse, wore a set of statement earrings and a pair black sunglasses to wholly complete her attire for the brisk Washington, D.C. weather.

Walking alongside his wife of more than 45 years, President Joe Biden suited up for his return to Washington, D.C. The President of the United States wore a dark suit beneath a black, long-sleeve coat with sharp lapels. He also wore a white button-down shirt and gray tie.

Jill Biden’s latest wintertime fashion statement is a slight departure from the holiday-inspired attire she wore over the last several weeks. In preparation for the yuletide festivities, Biden hosted events where she wore pieces courtesy of Gabriela Hearst, Veronica Beard and more.

Over the last four years, Biden’s style merged classic elements with pieces to which she consistently gravitates. The scarf for this look is a reminder of her appreciation and love of blue tones.
