Jeweler Anna Sheffield Introduces Decorative Objects

Anna Sheffield is heading home with a collection of decorative objects that are as eclectic as pieces from her namesake jewelry line. Made of bronze and semiprecious stones like jasper, agate silver and lapis lazuli, these small, sculptural pieces are meant to enhance the rituals of everyday life.

“When I thought about what my brand had yet to become, my mind went immediately to the home — the space itself and the things we collect there. I see the objects as an evolution of my artistic approach, merging the ‘forever talismans’ of jewelry with the day-to-day through the items we use and touch most often. I wanted to begin with small, meaningful things that make our daily experience not only more beautiful, but also more intentional,” explains the designer when asked what inspired her.

From a bell to an offering dish to an incense holder, each item from the The Ver Series was created while Sheffield explored and reconnected with her creative energy amid decades of managing two stores, adapting her business during and post-pandemic, and the challenges of living a bicoastal life. Now anchored in Taos, N.M., and residing in a traditional adobe house, the designer has embraced this lifestyle and new energy found from rediscovering her artist-self.

Objects from The Ver Series will be available for purchase beginning Oct. 23 at her New York store on 19 Bleecker Street and online at annasheffield.com. Prices range from $300 to $8,000.
