LONDON — CGC, the communications and talent agency that focuses on beauty and wellness, has named two industry figures to its leadership team: British Vogue’s Jessica Diner and Glossier’s Veronika Ullmer.
Diner is joining as chief global brand and creative officer, and Ullmer’s new title is president and chief communications officer. Both will work alongside founder Clare Goodwin, to accelerate growth in the U.S. and globally.
“In this next chapter, Jess and Veronika bring a wealth of industry experience and will work alongside me to elevate our brands’ mission and drive meaningful commercial value. Today, a brand is more than a product, it’s about understanding the zeitgeist and the ability to draw audiences into their world,” said Goodwin.
Diner spent 18 years at Vogue, most recently as global beauty and wellness director. Goodwin said that her dual role as both editorial strategist and digital creator at the publication “uniquely positions her to guide brands through creator partnerships, influencer strategy, and authentic audience connection.”
Diner said “there is a real opportunity to combine our strengths and shape a more expansive creative and strategic vision for the brands we work with. I’m looking forward to working with both emerging and established brands to create work that is in tune with the cultural moment, shaped by real insight, and built to last.”
Ullmer has held leadership roles at Estée Lauder, Augustinus Bader, and most recently served as global head of integrated communications, impact and partnerships at Glossier Inc.
She said that “today, the brands that win are those that blend creativity with commercial clarity. Our goal is to shape narrative, deepen cultural connection, and strengthen brand equity in ways that not only keep pace with change, but define it.”
As part of its wider expansion strategy CGC has also introduced a new business pillar called Catalyst, which is dedicated to launching and incubating new brands.
Catalyst aims to provide C-suite-level leadership, positioning, narrative building, tone-of-voice development, and brand story creation, with the goal of turning “early momentum into long-term, sustainable success.”
Goodwin launched CGC in 2018 with Hermès Parfum and Beauty; clients now includes Augustinus Bader, Westman Atelier, Glossier, Diptyque, Victoria Beckham Beauty, Bamford, Sarah Creal and Violette_FR.
In 2022 CGC announced The Collective, the talent division of the business, which includes Rose Ferguson, the former model who’s now a nutritionist and functional medicine practitioner; the makeup artist Wendy Rowe; and the celebrity nail artist Julia Diogo, founder of Painted by Jools.
CGC has a team of 25 in London, seven in New York and has a partnership in the Middle East with Bfore Communications. Goodwin said that in 2025 the company has grown 45 percent globally, with business increasing 120 percent in the U.S. market.
