Jennifer Aniston Wows in Edgy Little Black Dress on ‘Kimmel’

Jennifer Aniston made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday. “The Morning Show” actress joined the eponymous late-night talk show host to chat about her new children’s book “Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life.”

For her talk show stint, Aniston opted for an edgy take on the classic little black dress. The actress wore a leather black minidress with an asymmetrical neckline and thin straps. Aniston kept the rest of her look relatively simple, favoring streamlined style.

Aniston’s glam featured her long auburn tresses in soft waves and her makeup featured a natural look with a soft lip. The actress wore delicate pieces of jewelry, including gold metallic bracelets, rings and hoop earrings. She completed her look with black heels.

During her time on the talk show, Aniston discussed her new children’s book. “It’s inspired by my rescue dog, Clyde,” Aniston said of her book “Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life.” Aniston then surprised the audience by bringing her dog out to join her onstage.

Aniston also started The Clydeo Fund in conjunction with the book’s release to support animal rescue organizations around the world.

Aniston’s little black dress choice comes on the heels of several A-list stars and celebrities adding their spin to the classic wardrobe staple. Lily Collins previously gave the LBD an asymmetric twist from Versace’s resort 2025 collection during her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Sept. 17.

Other stars who’ve favored variations on the little black dress include Halle Berry’s lingerie-inspired look at the “The Union” premiere last August, Melissa McCarthy wearing a textural Mara Hoffman design for her time on “Jimmy Kimmel” last June and Gabrielle Union giving the LBD a sultry take for the Living Beauty and Valentino event in May.
