Jennifer Aniston paired a Givenchy by Sarah Burton dress with custom minimalist footwear by Jimmy Choo to attend the Variety x Apple TV “The Morning Show” finale and reception in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Aniston modeled a pared-back shoe style, donning a black sandal with a simple medium-width strap across the toes and a slingback strap around the ankle. The barely-there look was elevated by a statement-making tall stiletto heel. This isn’t the first time Aniston has worn the shoes lately — she showcased them in New York in September, pairing them with multiple all-black outfits.
This time around, the heels accompanied a look designed by Sarah Burton for Givenchy; the actress wore a gray wool Sliced wrapped dress featuring spaghetti straps and a flowy skirt with an asymmetric hemline. This follows Aniston wearing a vintage sparkling black dress by Ralph Lauren at the Elle Women in Hollywood event on Monday; Ralph Lauren was one of the sponsors of the event.

Aniston has gone for the barely-there shoe aesthetic before. Also in September, she donned a pair of snakeskin Christian Louboutin sandals with skinny toe straps, a slender slingback strap and a stiletto heel. This sort of silhouette aligns with a popular trend toward minimalist formal footwear — the barely-there mule heel with a simple toe strap, interpreted by Paris Texas and more brands, has been a celebrity favorite style lately.
