Jenna Ortega in Custom Harris Reed for ‘Beetlejuice’ London Premiere

Jenna Ortega continued her method-dressing streak at the London premiere of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” on Thursday. The actress joined members of the cast for their latest red carpet event, following the film’s premiere at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday.

Ortega embraced structural elements and corsetry in a custom dress by Harris Reed. The dress featured a teal bodice with an exaggerated crumb-catcher neckline and amplified peplums at the waist. The teal hue was complemented by a contrasting shade of black on the dress, and the opera gloves Ortega wore as part of her accessories.

The back of the dress also featured explicit corsetry elements, including black lacing set against the teal fabric. The shape and silhouette of the dress were slightly reminiscent of Reed’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

Ortega further accessorized her look with rings and earrings in a shade of silver. She also carried a purse modeled after the house featured in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and the 1988 original film. The purse was designed by French brand Ozias.

Ortega’s hair was styled in a sleek, straight look by Bobby Eliot, with makeup by artist Melanie Inglessis. The actress’ entire London premiere look was curated by stylist Enrique Melendez.

Throughout the press tour for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” Ortega has taken sartorial inspiration from the film and its 1988 predecessor. For the Venice Film Festival premiere of the movie on Wednesday, Ortega wore a voluminous custom red gown by Christian Dior, which channeled the red wedding dress Winona Ryder wears in the first “Beetlejuice” film.

Directed by Tim Burton, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” follows Lydia Deetz (Ryder), as she summons the help of the ghoulish Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) to help her rescue her teenage daughter Astrid (Ortega) after she opens a portal to the Afterlife. The film hits theaters Sept. 6.
