Jenna Ortega and Charli XCX lined up in coordinated beige at “The Gallerist” premiere on Saturday, bringing two very different takes on sculpted neutrals to the Sundance Film Festival photo call alongside co-star Natalie Portman.
Ortega led the trio in a camel look from Mugler’s spring 2026 collection, styled by Enrique Melendez. The outfit paired a sharply tailored shirt with a matching midi skirt, cinched by a narrow belt and paneled to emphasize a strict hourglass line. She finished it with archival Le Silla pumps in glossy beige patent leather, cut with a steep pointed toe, thin ankle strap and high stiletto heel.

Her look is from Miguel Castro Freitas’ Mugler runway debut, which featured camel and beige suiting, padded waistlines and nude bodystockings pushed the house’s corseted tailoring into a more cerebral “showgirl” direction. Ortega’ complete the look with her signature bleached brows and a neutral lip.
Charli XCX matched Ortega’s palette in a Simon Carle spring 2024 look: a sand-colored mini dress under a clear PVC cape trimmed with white lace. The poncho-style outer layer fell just past the hem of the slip. “The Moment” star finished the look in semi-transparent tan pumps with rounded lugs under the forefoot for a subtle, cleat-like tread.

Portman opted for a long brown tweed coat with black peak lapels over a black turtleneck, opaque tights and pointed black sock boots. A single white “ICE OUT” pin on her lapel referenced the #BeGood campaign, created in response to by ICE agent shootings, including the fatal shooting of Renée Nicole Good in Minneapolis. The pin has already appeared on other red carpets this awards season, including the 2026 Golden Globes.

Directed by Cathy Yan, “The Gallerist” is a 2026 dark comedy set in the Miami art world, following gallery owner Polina Polinski (Portman) as she tries to sell a dead body as an artwork during Art Basel. Ortega plays her ambitious assistant, while Charli XCX appears as an art-world influencer whose bleached eyebrows — typically one of Ortega’s own signatures.
