Forget “Six Degrees to Kevin Bacon,” because this one might be even better. Jaromír Jágr was a juggernaut of the NHL playing from 1990 until his retirement in 2018. Obviously he played with a lot of different people during that time, but it this fact is absolutely mind-blowing.
An improbable hockey streak remains intact for another year
A teammate of Jaromír Jágr has made the Stanley Cup Final in each of the last 45 seasons after Aleksander Barkov’s Panthers clinched the East Wednesday.
Jágr’s final NHL season ended in 2018.

That’s right, Jágr has played with someone who has been on a Stanley Cup Finals team EVERY YEAR FOR THE LAST 45 YEARS. That goes back to the 1980 Stanley Cup Finals between the Islanders and Flyers, and yes this is real.
