Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season will kick off with a Thanksgiving Day triple-header and the second matchup will feature the Kansas City Chiefs visiting the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
The Chiefs potentially saved their season this past Sunday, narrowly avoiding a devastating loss in a 23-20 overtime victory over the Colts. Running back Isiah Pacheco was once again sidelined for that game, but will be suited up for this afternoon’s holiday showdown.
Below, we’ll go over Pacheco’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 13.
Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco
Pacheco will officially return to action today after being sidelined for the past month with a knee injury. The fourth-year running back was last seen in their 28-7 victory over the Commanders on October 27 where he suffered the injury, leaving veteran back Kareem Hunt to fill his place in the offense ever since.
Pacheco had recorded 349 rushing yards on 4.2 yards per attempt and a touchdown through eight games before the knee injury, also adding a receiving touchdown to his stat line as well. He wasn’t explosive, but proved to be a productive hand for the Chiefs offense and he ended up being a top-40 fantasy back in all scoring formats prior to his injury departure. Considering how productive Hunt has been in his absence, it remains to be seen which of the two backs will get the bulk of the carries in today’s matchup at Jerry World.
Sit. I’d guess that both Pacheco and Hunt will split reps out of the KC backfield this afternoon and that could potentially drive down the fantasy value of both backs in this contest. Pacheco wasn’t necessarily lighting the world on fire when he was healthy and I especially don’t trust him coming off a month-long knee injury. Pass.
