Hudson Grace Continues Diane Keaton Home Collection Legacy

MILAN — Academy Award-winning actress Diane Keaton’s flair for home design and her smart, sophisticated black-and-white aesthetic will live on. California-based interiors brand Hudson Grace told WWD on Monday that it will continue to produce the home collection on which it worked closely with the late actress, for the foreseeable future.

“Our shared commitment is to continue to create as long as it feels authentic to Diane and her legacy,” the firm said in an emailed statement.

Going forward, Hudson Grace said it is working in close and ongoing collaboration with her trust, the Diane Hall Trust. Keaton, who was born in 1946, died last October.

Hudson Grace shared images of the second iteration of the Diane Keaton + Hudson Grace collaboration with WWD. A new array of 39 pieces embraced Keaton’s characteristic love of black and white accents, natural materials and pieces that balance clean lines with inviting warmth. Standout pieces included tribute items like holiday ornaments in Keaton’s image and napkins emblazoned with her famous quotes like “I am a lot of fun on a date.” Pieces range $12 to $595 and will be available exclusively at Hudson Grace stores and online starting Tuesday.

Hudson Grace was founded in the Presidio Heights neighborhood of San Francisco by two friends, Monelle Totah and Gary McNatton, in 2012. The actress and Totah became friends while Keaton was shopping at the Brentwood store years ago, and they quickly bonded over their shared love of inspirational spaces.

The first collaboration was unveiled in August 2024 and included alpaca throws and a linen lineup with woven gingham checks, as well as pet accessories like the House Icon Dog Bowls, inspired by Keaton’s dog Reggie.

At the time, the Hollywood star of films including “Annie Hall” and “Baby Boom” chatted with WWD about her love for black and white and reflected on how her parents sparked her passion for interiors.

“My love of homes came from my dad Jack, who took me to endless open houses. I thought of walking through empty homes and dream of one day decorating my own. The combination of the two became my lifelong passion — home design.”

In addition to her acting, Keaton was known for her passion for buying, restoring and selling homes. In 2017, she published a book “The House That Pinterest Built,” which chronicles the process of building her own home from the ground up.
