Shop Jordyn Woods’ NBA Merch at Amazon (and Boyfriend Gift Recs for the Holidays!)

Jordyn Woods Zooms in for the WWD interview from the back of a cab. The 28-year-old media sensation and businesswoman is on the move: in general but also now especially, fresh off a collaboration with Amazon and about to launch a seasonal release at her own clothing label Woods by Jordyn (she’s wearing the sumptuously crafted piece during our chat, while stressing the confidential — and irresistible — nature of what customers are about to be treated to).

We’ve come together to talk about the aforementioned Amazon, where she recently unveiled a storefront replete with her very own game day–ready goods for Knicks fans (Woods, for obvious reasons, is partial to this team), as well as those with a soft spot for Miami Heat and the New Orleans Pelicans. Amidst the nine distinct selections the star ideated, you’ll find T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts. Seems simple? That’s the whole point.

“There’s so much you can do with a T-shirt. You can cut it up, you can tie it, you can stitch two T-shirts together,” Woods tells WWD. “It’s so versatile.”

In this endeavor, she’s joined by tastemakers like Brittany Mahomes and Normani, who have also rolled out their custom merch collections in partnership with Amazon. And when Woods is not designing T-shirts, she’s using another essential Amazon tool for sports fanatics. Indeed, Woods is now a spokesperson for Amazon’s Shop the Game technology, whose powers can be unleashed simply by typing “shop the game” into your Amazon app’s search bar. You’ll be promptly directed to upcoming NFL and NBA games, be it Falcons vs. Bucaneers or Lakers vs. Celtics, and their respective merchandise curations. Per Amazon, Shop the Game helps fans “simultaneously watch and shop their favorite live sports events without interruption,” meaning you can finally score that Golden State Warriors cap and catch the fourth quarter’s pivotal final minutes.

The innovation has helped Woods craft the perfect courtside looks for whenever Karl-Anthony Towns, her boyfriend and New York Knicks Center-Forward, is playing. Best of all, it features a particular AI assistant by the name of Rufus, who also comes in to save the day whenever Woods is stumped on how to style her fresh, basketball-coded threads.

“ You can literally ask Rufus, ‘Find me the perfect game-day ‘fit’ or ‘Find me the perfect gift for the holidays for my mom if she loves photography,’” Woods shares. “You can be so specific. There’s so much more on Amazon than I think people realize. It’s kind of like this hidden world that they can explore.”

Need help tracking Rufus down? He’s easy to reach and lives in the top left corner of the Amazon landing page when viewing it on your laptop. Those shopping from a phone will find Rufus in the bottom right-hand corner of their screen. Our team decided to test out this Woods-vetted feature and were, it’s sage to say, pleasantly surprised. After asking Rufus to “help [us] style this for game day,” in relation to an official New York Knicks hoodie, the friendly guide pointed us to joggers, crew socks, and even Knicks-themed drop earrings that let their wearers show off team spirit from the comforts of home or while cheering at an arena.

This whole time, we’ve failed to touch directly upon a major, headline-generating part of Woods’ life: her relationship with Towns, who’s referred to as KAT. It would be easy to say he’s the seven-foot elephant in the room, except our interview subject is very much eager to talk about him, sharing that she’s recently celebrated Towns’ birthday. Our editors inquire about the best boyfriend gifts she recommends from first-hand experience (Rufus, too, would be an apt source to ask).

”A deck of cards. Socks, pajamas, underwear. The things men don’t think to buy themselves,” Woods offers.

“A good wine decanter if they’re over 21,” she adds. “A cool poker set. A grooming kit. I love getting men’s grooming kits, and men need a good skin care routine. Also robes — I’ve bought a lot of robes for gifts on Amazon.”

As for the future of Woods by Jordyn, which first entered the world in 2023 and has since then made major waves in the fashion industry (a big milestone was developing an inclusive footwear line, specifically in regards to calf sizes)? The brand’s founder couldn’t be more excited for what’s in store.

“I’m just super motivated to continue to create products people love.  I’ve been waiting for a moment like this,” Woods says.

Ever since her first appearances on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and “Life of Kylie,” total strangers have been in pursuit of the scoop on Woods’ latest: what she’s doing, what she’s feeling, and what to expect from her next.

Racing down New York City streets — having just wrapped up on set, her team tells us, without revealing which one — Woods gives an answer that’s both honest and self-actualized: “I feel like I’m in a really great spot, and I’m more confident than I’ve ever been. I’m speaking it into existence, for all of us: Next year will be amazing, because 2025… was interesting.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
