The amount of time it takes to break in a Timberland depends on the specific shoe style. The Timberland 25 style, for instance, which is lighter and softer than the original boot, would perhaps be easier to break in than a Timberland Pro steel-toe work boot. On average, the usual total break-in window spans 10–20 hours of wear over several days. Heavier-duty Timberland work boots — encompassing the Pro series, insulated, or steel-toe styles — could take 3–6 weeks to break in.
