If you’re a football fan, Erin Andrews needs no introduction. The trailblazing sportscaster and TV personality has been a staple in sports coverage for decades. You can find her on the sidelines getting exclusive interviews, reporting during Super Bowls, and co-hosting the Calm Down Podcast, a show about life, gossip, and sports, on iHeart Radio.

As a longtime NFL sideline reporter, Andrews knows what it’s like to support her health on and off the field. When she’s not covering football games on FOX, she’s also tackling life as a new mom to her 1-year-old son. So it’s safe to say—her life can get pretty busy. But there are some wellness practices she sticks to that keep her in the game.

We caught up with Andrews to take us through her wellness-filled morning routine, from waking up early to taking care of her body from the inside out.

She gets up early to enjoy some “me” time

I have my alarm go off usually around 6:30 a.m., but I’m up before then. My body clock is so messed up from being in different time zones throughout the football season. I want to make sure that I’m up at that time to run and brush my teeth with my Philips Sonicare toothbrush—which I’m obsessed with! And my Arm and Hammer Whitening Toothpaste because I find that it’s the best whitening toothpaste. I drink a ton of coffee, and I enjoy red wine from time to time, so I like to whiten my teeth.

Then, she has to start her day with a sweat

Then, I wake up my son and spend some time with him before I bring him down to change his diaper. We get him breakfast, my husband will usually come down, and then I’m right up to put workout clothes on because I have to do a good 9:30 a.m. class to get myself going.

My favorite workout right now is Barry’s Bootcamp. It’s the best way to sweat it out, get my head clear and relieve stress. When I don’t feel like having a hardcore workout, I like to do Pilates on a reformer. Or when I’m on the road, because I’m in a hotel gym, I like to use the Peloton app. I use the strength classes there.

After working out, it’s time for skincare

I don’t do too much face care in the morning before the gym, but after the gym, I’m really big on making sure I wash my face. I’m obsessed with Zo Skin Health skincare, specifically the Zo Skin Health Exfoliating Polish, because during football season, I’m traveling and wearing a lot of makeup, and I do deal with acne issues.

I’m also big into the Augustinus Bader eye cream and wearing sunscreen—which I should have been into 20 years ago. But now I always make sure to put it on; I like to use the Elta tinted sunscreen. Then, the last thing I’ll use is Isdin lotion. It’s very hydrating, and I love that because I’m in a lot of different climates throughout the year, so my skin gets dry.

Finally, she protects her eyes and takes her supplements

For me, computer screens, phone screens, and staying up late studying to get ready for football games cause dry eyes. Also, I’m on planes all the time and in different climates that cause dry eyes. My eyes would always feel gritty and rough, and I would blink hard to clear them out. I always thought, “Oh, I’m just tired,” or that my eyes were a little off. But when I went to my doctor and told him the symptoms I was dealing with, he said it was dry eye and prescribed Miebo (a prescription-strength eye drop).

[My doctor] said I need to use it every day to be effective, and it has been. It’s great for me to travel with, and it gives my eyes a fresh feel. I like to put it in my eyes every morning because that way, I’ll remember it.

I’ll also take my Thorne supplements like collagen and creatine. I’ve been putting those in my water and juices, either before I workout or right after, to help with muscle-building.
