HOVERAir Announced as Official Flying Camera of U.S. Ski & Snowboard – sUAS News

HOVERAir X1 PRO and PROMAX to capture world-class winter sports performances in stunning 8K and 4K video 

PARK CITY, Utah  – HOVERAir is thrilled to announce its new partnership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard for the 2024-25 season. As the Official Flying Camera Partner, HOVERAir will empower elite athletes and bring fans closer to the action by providing unparalleled aerial views with its X1 PRO and PROMAX flying cameras. With these advanced cameras, now available for direct sales, fans can witness extreme snowboarding and freeskiing from breathtaking perspectives at the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain, Colorado, taking place December 18-21, 2024.

The Toyota U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain is the longest-running elite snowboarding and freeski competition series in the United States and a prominent stop on the FIS Freeski and Snowboard World Cup tour. Athletes will compete in Copper’s renowned 22-foot pro halfpipe, striving for the podium and showcasing the sport’s top talent. HOVERAir will host an on-site activation for fans, where they can experience the groundbreaking technology that has redefined aerial filming for action sports.

Built with OmniTerrain capabilities and advanced tracking and collision detection, they deliver smooth, steady shots at speeds of up to 26 mph, even in challenging environments, making them the ideal choice for skiers and snowboarders taking on the sport’s toughest terrains.
