Hoka and Halfdays Make Puffer Sneakers for Debut Collaboration

Hoka is bringing a new collaborator into the fold for a capsule of sneakers well-suited for winter.

The HalfDays x Hoka Kaha 2 Frost Moc GTX is a puffer jacket for your feet. Founded in 2020, the women’s outdoor brand brings two tasteful colorways to the waterproof and insulated sneaker: “Oat Milk” and “Amethyst.” Both are rendered tonally with a darker hue of their namesake color appearing on the collar, mudguard, outsole and branding, bringing more après appeal to the winter hiker.

On the functional front, a Vibram outsole delivers traction, a Gore-Tex membrane provides waterproofing, and PrimaLoft provides warmth.

“Our community has been asking for winter footwear that transitions seamlessly from snow to après,” said Ariana Ferwerda, cofounder and chief executive officer of Halfdays, which is collaborating with Hoka for the first time. “With Hoka, we reimagined the warmth and sculptural feel of our ski jackets into footwear, with technical innovation women can trust in cold-weather conditions.”

In creating exclusive colorways for the collaboration, Halfdays intends for the sneakers to pair with its winter 2025 collection.

The HalfDays x Hoka Kaha 2 Frost Moc GTX will release Nov. 14 through both parties’ websites and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $210.
