Helena Christensen has teamed up with the Faroese knitwear house Gudrun & Gudrun to create a knitwear capsule. The result is a series of softly sculpted pieces rooted in storytelling, slow handcraft, and a deep respect for nature.
The collection is comprised of pastels from tender pink and sunlit peach to warm yellow and earthy green. Each piece captures the delicate shift between seasons and the subtle strength of femininity. The silhouettes recall vintage lingerie through airy, open-knit textures and minimalistic techniques.

The collection will be available starting today at gudrungudrun.com and through selected retailers, including No. 5 Store in New York. Prices range from $450 to $835. The collection includes seven hand-knitted styles.
“Helena elevated our star sweater from ‘The Killing’ to a fashion statement more than 20 years ago,” said Guðrun Ludvig. “We’ve followed her journey ever since — from her shop in New York, where she carried our pieces, to her discovery of our lingerie collection. In this collaboration, the color palette is key. Helena is master of pastels and color stories — as seen in her work with Japanese Vogue. We’ve kept the knitting techniques intentionally simple to let the open, handmade textures shine, with nods to vintage undergarments and soft sensuality.”

Christensen brings not only her presence as a model but also her vision as a photographer to the campaign. With French muse Louise Follain in front of the lens, Christensen captures the garments in dramatic, windswept landscape.
“It was a profound and joyous experience collaborating with these talented women,” said Christensen. “I used to carry their beautiful knitwear in the New York City antique store a friend and I ran back in the day, and I’ve been admiring their work and values ever since. It felt like we came full circle with this collection. What makes it even more unique and personal is that some of the styles are hand-knitted by women n Peru, where may other comes from,” she said.
