Heidi Klum kept the gold story going at Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party on Sunday night, finishing a custom Chrome Hearts gown with Paris Texas’ mirrored gold Lidia mules. The after party, held at LACMA following the 98th Academy Awards, marked the event’s first year at the museum.

Klum wore the shoe in the brand’s gold mirrored leather finish, a high backless mule built with a single curved strap, an open square toe and a narrow pin heel. The shape stayed spare from every angle. The vamp cut low and wide across the foot, leaving the toes exposed, while the metallic finish gave the otherwise stripped-back silhouette a harder edge. At $845, the online-exclusive style sits inside the same Lidia line that has been turning up across red carpets and celebrity appearances for months.
That sharper, more minimal shoe kept the look from slipping too far into softness. Klum’s custom Chrome Hearts dress came in a pale yellow satin with a high halter neckline and an open back cut deep at the sides. Nude illusion mesh ran from the bodice through the skirt, covered in curling embroidery, sequins and beadwork in pale gold, champagne, blush and silver tones.

The slit opened high on one side, and the sheer embroidered panel continued down the leg, which left the mule visible in profile and in a closer crop. The mirrored gold leather picked up the warmer metallic beading in the dress, while the pale satin kept the overall look light. Klum’s jewelry followed the same line.
The supermodel’s pair also placed her inside one of Paris Texas’ clearest ongoing celebrity runs. Tyla wore Lidia mules to the Grammys on Feb. 1, while Rosé chose a mirrored pair for Super Bowl travel days later. also reported in February that Paris Texas had expanded the Lidia family with new thong versions, adding to a line that already includes mules, slingbacks, boots and other high-heel variations.

That push has come as founder Annamaria Brivio continues to position the Lidia as the brand’s hero shape even amid the broader market’s flat-shoe cycle. In a September 2025 FN interview, Brivio said the bestseller remained the Lidia “in every declination,” while stressing the millimeter-by-millimeter technical work behind the brand’s 4.1-inch heels.
The Vanity Fair Oscar Party entered its 31st year on Sunday and moved to LACMA for the first time. Held after the 98th Academy Awards, the invitation-only event remained one of Oscars night’s most watched late stops, drawing actors, musicians, nominees and presenters to the publication’s annual celebration.
