Heated Rivalry Cast Connor Storrie, François Arnaud

Any heated rivalry was put to bed — between Connor Storrie and François Arnaud at the Saint Laurent show, that is. The actors, who costar in the Canadian hockey drama “Heated Rivalry,” attended the brand’s show in Paris on Tuesday night.

To say the series is an unexpected hit is an understatement. Did Storrie ever think it would become such a global phenomenon?

“Definitely not. When I signed up for it, it was just a Canadian show, which I was very happy to do at the time,” he said. “But it’s just gotten better and better and better.”

He noted that the show has yet to be released in France, yet there were throngs of fans chanting his name outside.

“It feels good. Honestly, we’ve been going so hard since this whole thing began, and so I haven’t really had time to think about it too much,” he said. Last week he took part in carrying the Olympic torch ahead of February’s opening ceremony in Italy.

“It’s been a European adventure,” he added. Storrie wore a look from the latest Saint Laurent collection with a springy yellow accent, accessorized with Tiffany earrings.

Arnaud said he has been a fan of creative director Anthony Vaccarello’s work for a long time. He pointed out the subtle patterns on his tie, trousers and shirt, then did a spin to show off his long black coat.

“It’s like I’m dressed to the nines, but I feel like I’m dressed in a bathrobe,” he said of the wrap-tie trench. “It feels so good to wear.”

Jamie Bell and Kate Mara arrived together and swapped pieces beforehand. “I think this jacket is exactly that,” she said of the Saint Laurent men’s blazer belonging to her husband, which she slipped over her sheer black gown just after the photocall. “I love that we can both wear it.”

Saint Laurent regular Keith Powers compared his look to Bruce Wayne. “I feel like it’s heroic in a way,” he said of the outfit, topped with shades. Never one to rest, he added that he was keeping up his workout routine in Paris by running along the Seine.

He’s gearing up for the March premiere of his latest film, “The Gates.” The thriller follows a trio of friends trying to escape a neighborhood after witnessing a crime.

Despite the commotion of jostling cameras, “Anora” star Mark Eydelshteyn was busy filming the panorama painting on the ceiling of the Bourse de Commerce, where the show was held.

The young star has had quite a year, from the film’s premiere in Cannes to its Oscar wins — including Best Picture. He’s trying to preserve it all for posterity.

“Everything is disappearing very quickly, and my memories are also disappearing. This is a very important chapter of my life and I want to remember it,” he said. Saint Laurent has been a big part of that journey, as has been working with Vaccarello.

“To be part of this energy of his creative process is important, and I want to remember it. I will show my kids — when I have kids, of course — I was in this place, with this atmosphere.”

He said his double-breasted suit allowed him to play a new character, with a bit of an “old-fashioned, retro vibe.”

Photographers soon wanted snaps, even with a glass of Champagne in his hand. “What will my mother say?” he joked, raising a toast for the camera just as Oscar winners Rami Malek and Austin Butler took their seats.
