Halle Berry proved that the sheer trend is here to stay on Monday while attending the premiere of her new film, “The Union,” in Los Angeles.
The actress selected a lingerie-inspired minidress featuring lacy details. Berry completed her look with diamond-encrusted earrings, rings and a pair of mary jane pumps.
Stylist Lindsay Flores, who also counts Christina Applegate and Maggie Q as clients, dressed Berry for the occasion.
Hairdresser Sara Seward styled the former Bond girl’s brunette bob in natural curls, while makeup artist Jorge Monroy gave her bronze eye shadow and a glossy nude lip.
“The Union,” out Friday on Netflix, costars Mark Wahlberg. The action comedy is directed by Julian Farino, best known for his work on HBO’s “Entourage.”
In May, Berry stopped by Capitol Hill to advocate for federal funding for research on menopause and women’s health. She sported a red-orange Roberto Cavalli power suit, adding on a printed blouse.
Speaking to First Lady Jill Biden at A Day of Unreasonable Conversation in Los Angeles earlier this year, Berry spoke candidly about going through menopause and perimenopause.
“I feel like I have razor blades in my vagina. I run to my gynecologist and I say, ‘Oh my God, what’s happening?’ It was terrible. He said, ‘You have the worst case of herpes I’ve ever seen.’ I’m like, ‘Herpes? I don’t have herpes. I realize after the fact, that is a symptom of perimenopause,” Berry recalled at the March event.
“My doctor had no knowledge and didn’t prepare me. That’s when I knew, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve got to use my platform. I have to use all of who I am, and I have to start making a change and a difference for other women.’”
