Gwen Stefani put a sheer spin on the little black dress for her look at the “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” event on Wednesday in Nashville. The No Doubt frontwoman attended the event alongside her husband of nearly four years, Blake Shelton.
Stefani styled a look courtesy of OW Collection. The “Just a Girl” singer’s dress featured lace details and a high neckline. The look is made in a see-through and mesh material. Beneath the dress, Stefani added more black pieces, including fishnet tights, to complete the look.

Ruffles designed in a horizontal pattern covered the dress in contrast to the sheer mesh fabric. Stefani added a country element to her look with a pair of black cowgirl boots. As for accessories, Stefani went with silver bangle bracelets and a few rings.
For her glam, Stefani opted to style her hair straight with a middle part. Her makeup included bold brows, defined and lined eyes, long lashes and the singer’s signature pop of red lip. Stefani’s spin on the little black dress was a marriage of her punk style sensibility and a classic wardrobe staple.

Stefani’s style influences and stage presence have long catered to a rebellious punk-forward aesthetic. For an October visit to “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Stefani merged her punk style with a tailored silhouette, wearing a pink and black skirt suit set courtesy of Pucci’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.
Then again, touches of country chic have also made their way into Stefani’s wardrobe, thanks in part to her marriage and oft musical collaborations with Shelton. At the ACM Awards last May, Stefani styled a Robert Cavalli look with nods to country and Western style.

The look included a brown leather jacket embellished with several laser-cut feathers in tones of gray, white, green and brown. The look was featured in Cavalli’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection, crafted by designer Fausto Puglisi and inspired by women “who dress for no one but themselves,” per WWD’s review of the collection.
