A bevy of A-list stars attended an event on Monday to support the American men’s and women’s basketball teams during the 2024 Paris Olympics on Monday. Among the red carpet arrivals at the Team USA house at Palais Brongniart in Paris, Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade and Taraji P. Henson brought trendy looks to the event.
For her look, Union wore a silk maxidress with floral elements along the neckline and straps of the bustier silhouette. The “Bring It On” alum’s look married romantic, summertime florals with a sensual spin.
Union wore her hair down in natural waves and carried a small white top-handle bag courtesy of Prada. As for his look, Dwyane Wade brought a modern color motif to the function, wearing a gray suit complete with trousers and a blazer with sharp lapels. The former basketball star accessorized with a dainty chain necklace.
Taraji P. Henson brought one of 2024’s hottest red carpet trends to Paris for her appearance at the Olympic event. The Oscar-nominated actress wore a sheer lacy black matching set with a glittering statement necklace.
Henson’s look also featured the peekabo bra trend, which had a major resurgence on the red carpet within the last year. Stars like Kristen Stewart, Rosie Huntington-Whitelely and Sydney Sweeney, among others, have all styled the trend in their own respective way throughout 2024.
Union, Wade and Henson are among several stars who’ve attended the 2024 Paris Olympics. Former athlete Tom Brady attended the artistic gymnastics women’s floor exercise final on Monday at the Bercy Arena, while other stars like Michael Phelps, Kendall Jenner and more attended various events during the first week of competitions.
Other notable American attendees have opted to wear apparel with patriotic flair, including pieces designed by Ralph Lauren, who designed the 2024 Olympians opening and closing ceremonies uniforms. For such a red carpet event like the one for the men’s and women’s basketball teams, red carpet wardrobe broke up the stream of red, white and blue seen throughout the Olympic grounds.
