Elisa Albella has been named chief of staff of Frame.
Launched in 2012 by Swedish entrepreneurs Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede, the Los Angeles-based brand started with a pair of skinny jeans before growing into a lifestyle label for women and men.
Albella’s appointment marks a new chapter for Frame as the company plans to accelerate its retail business and expand into global markets, particularly Europe and Asia, said Nicolas Dreyfus, Frame’s chief executive officer.
Frame ended 2024 with 15 percent growth and has seen more than 20 percent growth across wholesale and d-to-c channels this quarter, according to Dreyfus.
“These are extremely promising signs as we anticipate another fantastic year for 2025,” he added, in a statement to WWD. “We have strong presence in ready-to-wear and denim for both men’s and women’s and have great potential for expansion into new territories and new product categories. We are very optimistic about the continued positive trajectory for the brand into 2026, and Elisa’s expertise will be crucial in continuing to drive our growth, optimizing operations, and guiding the overall strategy for the brand.”
Albella most recently served as director of retail strategy and operations at Alo Yoga. Previously, she had a seven-year tenure at McKinsey & Company, advising CEOs and chief operating officers in fashion and retail across the firm’s offices in Madrid, London and L.A. She also worked at Burberry as part of its strategy team.
“I’m joining Frame at an incredibly exciting time,” said Albella, in a statement. She holds an MBA from Stanford University. “There are bold plans for global expansion, an inspiring creative direction, and undeniable brand momentum. I’m excited to bring my experience to the table to help Frame reach new heights while preserving what makes the brand so distinct and special.”
