First Breach, Inc. has announced a joint venture with ideaForge Technology Limited to manufacture and distribute dual-use unmanned aerial vehicles in the United States, marking a notable example of international drone manufacturers turning to US-based production capabilities to address market demand and regulatory requirements.
US Drone Manufacturing Facility in Maryland
The newly formed entity, First Forge Technology Inc., will operate from First Breach’s existing Hagerstown, Maryland factory, where the company currently produces ammunition and components. The joint venture will focus on licensing, sourcing, designing, engineering, manufacturing, and distributing advanced UAVs for commercial, government, law enforcement, and military customers across the United States.
Technical Capabilities and Market Position
ideaForge brings significant technical credentials to the partnership. The company ranks third globally among dual-use drone manufacturers according to Drone Industry Insights’ Global Drone Review 2024. ideaForge operates manufacturing and R&D facilities in Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and the USA, and has achieved over 750,000 successful flights with operational deployments where an ideaForge drone launches every three minutes.
First Breach contributes vertically integrated US manufacturing infrastructure and established market access. The company specializes in precision manufacturing at its Maryland facility, producing components from raw materials through finished products.
