After teasing fans with its Dr. Scholl’s collaboration, Favorite Daughter’s first full range of is here.
The debut shoe collection by cofounders and sisters Erin and Sara Foster features a range of styles including boots, pumps, loafers, flats, sneakers and more.
Standout models from the new fall 2025 collection include the Teddy knee-high boot, the Margot Mary-Jane flat, the Katharine sandal, the Kenna pointed-toe pumps and the Lola loafer. Prices range between $195 and $495.
The launch boasts a solid lineup of retail partners, including Nordstrom, Shopbop, Anthropologie, Moda Operandi and Browns in Canada. In addition, the collection will be stocked in Favorite Daughter shops and select specialty stores nationwide.
The sisters’ “cultural relevance” has been a key factor in the line’s initial success, according to Jay Schmidt, president and chief executive officer of Caleres, which holds the license for the brand’s shoe category.
“Bringing the Favorite Daughter brand into footwear for the first time is an opportunity to extend its distinct identity in a meaningful way,” Schmidt told FN in an interview. “The brand has built a strong emotional connection with consumers through its apparel, and expanding into footwear allows it to tell a more complete lifestyle story – one we’re proud to help bring to life. Erin and Sara Foster infuse the brand with a sense of personality, wit, and modern femininity that translates seamlessly into the footwear category.”

For the Fosters — who have always focused on designing pieces they want to wear — the new collection reflects their core mission for the brand.
“As industry leaders with deep expertise in the shoe space, Caleres helped us bring our vision to life – creating timeless, trend-right styles that feel elevated, comfortable, and attainable,” Erin and Sara Foster said in a joint statement. “It’s important to us that every piece we design, from ready-to-wear to footwear are styles we genuinely want in our own closets.”
Launched in 2020 by the Foster sisters – in partnership with Centric Brands – the move into footwear comes after an active 2024. Last year, the company opened a Beverly Hills retail store while also operating an expanding wholesale business. Denim, suiting, accessories and logo wear are also growing categories.

First announced in February, the Favorite Daughter footwear collection was co-created with Caleres senior vice president and chief design and product officer Natelle Baddeley. The line is crafted in soft napas, exotic leathers, satins, velvets and subtle suedes and features cushioned footbeds using athletic grade foams not typically found in dress shoes, the company noted. Special details include the Favorite Daughter signature buckles on removable straps to provide styling options.
Schmidt said Favorite Daughter is an important addition to the company’s roster. “Favorite Daughter complements our portfolio of category-defining legacy and luxury brands such as [the newly acquired] Stuart Weitzman and Allen Edmonds; the founder-led vision of Sam Edelman; and modern partnerships with culturally resonant designer brands Veronica Beard and Vince,” the CEO said. “These collaborations not only expand our presence in the advanced contemporary market but also underscore Caleres’ expertise in product design, innovation and brand stewardship.”
Looking ahead, Favorite Daughter and Caleres are just getting started. “This is just the beginning,” Schmidt said. “Long term, we envision expanding distribution thoughtfully, building community around the brand, and continuing to collaborate closely with the Foster sisters to keep the DNA strong and distinct.”
