Fantasy football waiver wire: Three kickers to consider for Week 7

Welcome to the Week 7 waiver wire watch!

Another weekend of NFL action is in the books and if you can believe it, we’re already a third of the way through the 2025 regular season. Several kickers continue to have strong seasons and in many cases, have been the determining factor in fantasy matchups.

We’ll go over some Week 6 performers that you should consider scooping off the waiver wire ahead of Week 7 and as always, we’ll classify a waiver add as someone who is rostered in 50% of leagues at the max.

Week 7 byes: Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills

Eddy Pineiro, K, San Francisco 49ers (24.7%)

Pineiro is threatening to become the top fantasy kicker with Spencer Shrader done for the year and he was the biggest source of points for the 49ers in their 30-19 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. His 18 fantasy points were the best performance of the week among kickers as he went 4-4 on field goal attempts and booted a single extra point. He was notably the only kicker on Sunday to connect on multiple 50+ yard attempts.

San Francisco’s injury problems continue on both sides of the ball and guys like Pineiro will need to step up to maintain the team’s status as a playoff contender. He’s averaging 12.8 fantasy points per game, so he’s proving that he can be a leg that can be relied on.

Week 7 matchup: vs. Atlanta Falcons, 8:20 p.m. ET

Jason Myers, K, Seattle Seahawks (33.2%)

Seattle’s offense is hitting its stride with Sam Darnold operating the controls and that only presents more opportunities for Myers to put points on the board. That was the case in their 20-12 victory over the Jaguars, where he went 2-2 on both field goals and extra points. He’s racked up at least 10 fantasy points in three of his last four contests, so the two-time Pro Bowler is once again someone that you can lean on to deliver results for your lineup.

Week 7 matchup: vs. Houston Texans, 10 p.m. ET (Monday night)

Blake Grupe, K, New Orleans Saints (0.8%)

Grupe has gotten plenty of opportunities to put points on the scoreboard for the struggling Saints and more often than not, he connects. That was the situation in their 25-19 loss to the Patriots, where he went 4-4 from the field and 1-1 on extra points. As a result, it marked the second straight week where he’s delivered 16 fantasy points for the minuscule number of managers who have him on their rosters.

A red flag is the fact that he already has five misses on the year and his fantasy value is tied to the volume of opportunities that he gets with each game. If you’re willing to stomach the possibility of a miss or two, he could provide enough points to make him a worthwhile add.

Week 7 matchup: @ Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. ET
