Fantasy football rankings: Top 90 standard RBs for Week 16

The second round of the fantasy football playoffs is here! You’ve made it to the penultimate game and it’s time to kick some other fake team’s backside. Below we have the running backs you need to get into your lineups this week.

Audric Estime, Saints vs Jets

The Jets have allowed 14 running back touchdowns over their last five games. That’s about as bad as you can get. The Saints are hurting at running back with both Alvin Kamara and Devin Neal hurt. At this point we don’t know exactly how the injury report will look on Friday, but if Kamara and Neal are out, Estime looks like the better play than Evan Hull. Estime was just better in relief of Neal last week and also saw three receptions. There will be upside for whoever gets the ball for the Saints this week.

Knight was forced from last week’s game with an ankle injury that appears to be one that will keep him out at least this week and possibly the rest of the season. Emari Demercado and Michael Carter will take over the running back duties.

Neal was forced from their Week 15 matchup with a hamstring injury. Audric Estime and Evan Hull split time with him out. Alvin Kamara has yet to return to practice after suffering an MCL sprain, but has not been put on IR. We’ll see if they try to get him back with three games remaining.

Marks left last week’s game numerous times with ankle issues, but eventually didn’t return. It sounds like he could have returned if needed, but the Texans got out to a substantial lead. He carries some risk due to his lingering injury, but it sounds like he’ll be able to play this week against the Raiders.

Kamara suffered an MCL sprain in Week 12 and missed Week 13n and 14. Devin Neal has taken over the lead role in his place. He wasn’t placed on I.R., so it seems like he should have a chance to return, but he hasn’t practiced yet. He’ll likely need to get a full practice in to be ready to go this week against the Panthers.
