Welcome to Week 7 of the NFL season. So far, through six weeks, your leading fantasy kicker is none other than Brandon Aubrey. It’s not often that the best kicker also happens to lead the way in fantasy points, but Aubrey is just that good. As for the leading kicker in points per game, it’s Eddy Pineiro, who replaced Jake Moody in San Francisco. He’s only behind Aubrey by one fantasy point, but missed Week 1 while Moody kicked his way out of a job.
As usual, we need to always consider dropping kickers if they aren’t helping our teams. There are always options in good matchups that are worth playing off the waiver wire. As we move forward, keep an eye matchups against the Broncos, Dolphins, Jets, Ravens, and Cowboys. They’ve been the worst at giving up fantasy points to kickers so far this season.
