Ahead of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls have unveiled a special livery for the race at Silverstone. Unveiled at an event in London on Tuesday, the livery comes in partnership with HUGO, and features a design from Nigerian artist Slawn.
According to a press release from the team, the design pairs “the lines of sport, fashion, and art.” The livery features Slawn’s “famed graffiti aesthetic, rooted in his Yoruba heritage and London’s urban culture. His work challenges traditional art norms and thrives on hype and disruption, making it a perfect synergy between VCARB and HUGO.”
“Slawn’s work is unlike anything we’ve seen in Formula One, and that’s exactly why this collaboration felt right,” said Peter Bayer, VCARB’s Chief Executive Officer. Partnering with HUGO and Slawn has allowed us to push creative boundaries in a way that reflects the bold identity of our team. The designs will also be featured on the race suits worn by both Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar this weekend, as well as the entire team’s kit:

This is not Slawn’s first foray into the sporting world. The artist designed the Emirates FA Cup Trophy this season.
VCARB enters the British Grand Prix sitting sixth in the Constructors’ Championship standings with 36 points. That puts them 19 points behind fifth-place Williams, and seven points ahead of seventh-place Haas.
