Emilia Clarke Brings The Row’s Quiet Luxury to ‘Ponies’ Premiere

Emilia Clarke styled sleek modernity with quiet luxury in a look courtesy of The Row for the New York City premiere of her new Peacock series “Ponies” on Wednesday night.

The Emmy Award-nominated “Game of Thrones” alum styled a wool-blend black dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline and cape-like effect throughout the sleeves. The Row’s Anitas draped wool-blend midi dress nodded to the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen-founded label’s signature approach to quiet luxury, a popular trend comprising pared-back basics with elevated elegance.

Clarke paired the look with Herbert Levine satin pumps, also in a shade of black for a cohesive, subdued aesthetic. As for jewelry pieces, Clarke opted for a shimmering necklace courtesy of Chaumet, for which she serves as an ambassador.

For glam, Clarke styled her brunette hair in a slightly slicked-back look with a middle part, leaving wisps to frame her face. Her makeup included defined brows, lined eyes and a pop of color from a red lip. Clarke often collaborates with stylist Emma Jade Morrison on her red carpet looks.

Established in 2005 by the Olsens, The Row emerged as a new force in the resale business in 2025. Rebag identified the brand’s rise in popularity within the “unicorn” category, with The Row’s handbags reselling at 97 percent of their retail value.

“The Row’s rise reflects a maturing market where both heritage logos and minimalist design coexist as symbols of lasting value,” Elizabeth Layne, Rebag’s chief marketing officer, told WWD. “While Chanel and Louis Vuitton each reached similar highs in recent years — peaking at 92 percent and 88 percent retention respectively — The Row’s sustained growth highlights that refined craftsmanship and versatility can hold their own alongside established icons.”
