Elle Fanning brought red-hot energy to the red carpet for the 2026 SXSW premiere of her new series “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” on Thursday night in Austin.
The Oscar-nominated “Sentimental Value” star wore a vibrant red dress by Coach. The midi dress was designed with a statement neckline, featuring a bow near the shoulder for a slight asymmetrical element and sheer fabric.

Small shimmering sequins cascaded down the bright red fabric of the dress, which included a silky hemline that added modest material juxtaposition. Black pumps contributed further to the classic elegance of Fanning’s long-sleeve Coach dress.
As for glam, Fanning’s makeup, by artist Erin Ayanian Monroe, created a clean visage, with lightly lined brows and eyes with a glossy lip. Her hair, by stylist Jenda Alcorn, featured a slightly off-center part and was worn straight cascading down her back. Stylist Samantha McMillen, who also collaborates with the actress’ costar Michelle Pfeiffer, curated Fanning’s look.

Fanning has been a longtime collaborator with Coach, serving the brand as an ambassador. The actress has sat in the front row for the label’s various fashion shows, and recently starred in the brand’s spring 2026 campaign: “Explore Your Story.”
“Elle brings such warmth, depth and spirit to everything she does, and she’s a treasured part of our Coach family,” Stuart Vevers, Coach’s creative director, said in a statement of the actress. Vevers and the Coach brand hosted a dinner to honor the “Sentimental Value” star back in December ahead of Fanning’s first Oscar nomination for her performance. “Celebrating this milestone with her was an honor. Seeing her artistry on screen is a joy, and I’m excited for all that’s ahead.”

Based on Rufi Thorpe’s novel of the same name, “Mago’s Got Money Troubles” follows a young single mother, played by Fanning, who starts an OnlyFans account to make money to support herself and her child. The series costars Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman and Nicole Kidman, among others. “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” premieres on Apple TV April 15.
