Elle Fanning turned to the runway for her Simone Rocha look at the London Film Festival red carpet premiere of her new film “Sentimental Value” on Sunday.
Stylist Samantha McMillen, who also collaborates with Kirsten Dunst and Ana de Armas, dressed Fanning in a look from Rocha’s spring 2026 collection. The look played with proportions, featuring a sleek bodice with a sleeveless element and a scoop neckline.

At the hips, the look billowed with extra movement, incorporating both a wide-leg element and a voluminous skirt. Over the black garment, shimmering sequins created a glittering effect beneath the lights, cascading down the piece from the bodice to the midi hem of the skirt. The solid black fabric of the pants peeked out beneath the skirt’s midi hem.
Fanning’s dark glamour sartorial statement was paired with strappy black Manolo Blahnik heels and further accessorized by jewelry pieces by Cartier — the Baignoire watch in 18-karat white gold with diamonds and leather and the Panthère de Cartier ring in 18-karat white gold with onyx, diamonds and emeralds.

Fanning’s glam featured some edgy glamour elements as well, including shadowy eyes and a faint red lip by makeup artist Wendy Rowe. The actress’ hair was pulled up into a ballet bun with a few wisps to frame her face by hairstylist Jenda Alcorn.
London Fashion Week was the site of Simone Rocha’s spring 2026 collection’s debut. “’Disgruntled debutante’ was the juicy character Simone Rocha portrayed for spring, yielding a young, frisky and slyly sultry collection,” Miles Socha wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.

“They wore sparkly bra tops and gauzy hoop skirts, quilted bed jackets and plastic raincoats, much of this new territory for Rocha, here easing up on ruffles, trailing ribbons and pearl embroideries. Some models hugged leather pillows edged in broderie anglaise,” Socha wrote.
“Sentimental Value,” costarring Fanning, Stellan Skarsgård and Renate Reinsve, is one of several high-profile films featured at the 2025 edition of the BFI London Film Festival, which kicked off on Wednesday and concludes on Oct. 19. Films vying for awards consideration will screen and debut at the festival, which marks its 69th anniversary with the 2025 iteration.
