Ella Purnell channeled romantic inspiration for Prime Video‘s “Fallout” Tastemaker event. Held on Thursday in Los Angeles to promote the TV show among influencers and media personalities, the soiree featured Purnell in a brown Rodarte dress with black lace details.
The actress’ silk dress featured a plunging neckline with lace cutouts at the bust, a V-shaped midriff and short puff sleeves. The ensemble was part of Rodarte‘s fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection, which was inspired by ethereal femininity and ballet. Purnell accessorized the look with gold rings, keeping it minimalist.
Purnell was accompanied by her series costar, Aaron Moten, who opted for a gray suit with wide-leg trousers.
Purnell began her career as a child actress in films like “Never Let Me Go” (2010) and “Maleficent” (2014). Over the years, she has been spotted wearing designer outfits at high-profile events, including dresses from Max Mara, Huishan Zhang and Givenchy.
For the “Fallout” premiere in April, Purnell wore a Miu Miu iridescent purple and green column gown. For the “Yellowjackets” premiere in 2022, the actress was seen in a plunging black set from Carolina Herrera’s pre-fall 2023 collection.
“Fallout” is based on the 1997 video game of the same name. The show is set in a postapocalyptic world, featuring Purnell as Lucy MacLean and Moten as Maximus. Prime Video is promoting the show ahead of the 2024 Primetime Emmys, scheduled for Sept. 15.
