Dufour Aerospace’s Drones Revolutionize Medical Graft Delivery – sUAS News

Dufour Aerospace is proud to have supported an ambitious and pioneering experiment in France: the drone transport of a medical graft in collaboration with Leeft and the CR2TI UMR 1064 Nantes laboratory of the CHU de Nantes.

This mission represents a concrete step toward integrating uncrewed aerial systems into critical healthcare logistics; helping make time-sensitive transport faster, more secure, and less carbon-intensive.

As the manufacturer of the Aero2 and AeroMini10, we’re committed to building dependable aircraft designed to meet the rigorous demands of emergency and medical cargo. For this project, our technology helped demonstrate the real-world viability of long-range drone delivery in high-stakes medical use cases.

Special thanks to:
The medical team led by Prof. Julien Branchereau and Dr. Benoît Mesnard
Leeft, for leading the coordination and operations
IGL , for their expertise in organ preservation
The COMMUNE DU LOROUX-BOTTEREAU and Mairie de Haute-Goulaine, for their crucial operational support

At Dufour Aerospace, we believe in a future where uncrewed aircraft play a key role in public health infrastructure — helping ensure that life-saving materials arrive where and when they’re needed most.
