Demi Moore Holds Court in Sheer Dress at the 2026 WWD Style Awards

Demi Moore looked every bit the fashion icon at the 2026 WWD Style Awards on Friday night in Santa Monica, Calif., wearing a sleeveless shimmering black Gucci dress and statement necklace for the event.

Moore’s sleeveless black Gucci gown, courtesy of creative director Demna, featured a semi-sheer fabric with a form-fitting silhouette, hugging “The Substance” Oscar-nominated actress’ frame with the liquid material of the fabric. As for accessories, Moore wore a statement bib necklace with glittering diamonds along with dangling earrings that further accented the sparkling aura of her look.

The award-winning actress hit the award show on Friday night, held at the Regent Santa Monica Beach. She was honored with the show’s Fashion Icon award. Other winners from the evening include Giorgio Armani, Hailey Bieber, Pamela Anderson and more.

Moore’s style has always been a significant part of her career since she rose to prominence in the 1990s. Since 2008, Moore has been working with stylist Brad Goreski. “The thing about her is her respect for the art form of fashion and design,” Goreski told WWD of Moore. “She always wants to represent the designer in the best possible way.”

Over the last nearly two decades, Moore’s style has continuously advanced alongside her acting career. Her impressive style while promoting “The Substance” is thanks to working with Goreski. Some of her best looks included pieces from Schiaparelli, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel and more throughout the film’s 2024 run.

As part of Golden Week, the WWD Style Awards honor the creative forces defining red carpet style across fashion, beauty and accessories. This year’s event honor edGiorgio Armani with the Red Carpet Visionary Award, accepted by George Clooney on behalf of the late designer. Other honorees included Moore, Anderson, Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian Barker. The VIP event was presented by Amazon Beauty, Donna Karan New York, and IHG Hotels & Resorts.
