ROYAL DEBUT: David Beckham wore a three-piece custom morning suit — the first tailored menswear piece from Victoria Beckham, his wife’s namesake fashion label — to receive his knighthood from King Charles on Tuesday during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Made from a British wool-mohair blend in a deep charcoal gray, the suit served as a reflection of his sartorial sensibility while being rooted in classic British tailoring.
Now granted the courtesy title of Lady, Victoria wore a custom version of her brand’s top-selling Bela dress in navy for the occasion.

Following the ceremony, the former footballer said a knighthood was beyond anything that he ever thought he would receive.
“To be honest, a young boy from the east end of London, born in Leytonstone and here at Windsor Castle, being honored by His Majesty the King, the most important and the most respected institution in the world, it’s quite a moment. This is without a doubt my proudest moment,” he added.
The footballer-turned-style icon also revealed that the British monarch “was quite impressed with my suit. He’s kind of the most elegantly dressed man that I know, so he inspired quite a few of my looks over the years, and he definitely inspired this look.
“It was something that my wife made me. I looked at old pictures of him [Charles] when he was quite young in morning suits, and I was like, ‘OK, that’s what I want to wear,’ so I gave it to my wife and she did it,” he added.
