Darnell Mooney start or sit: Week 14 fantasy football advice

The 4-8 Atlanta Falcons host the 9-3 Seattle Seahawks as 7.5-point home underdogs this Sunday. Atlanta doesn’t have much to play for, but they’ll still give it the old college try! With Kirk Cousins in for the injured Michael Penix Jr. and Drake London out, we’ve seen Darnell Mooney not able to separate as the lead wide receiver target in a meaningful way. But, he is still the WR1 with London looking like he’ll miss another game.

Below, we’ll go over Darnell Mooney’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 14.

Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons, WR, Darnell Mooney

Mooney has had one Top 30 fantasy finish this season and that came two weeks ago on three targets when he scored his only touchdown of the season. Plus, the Seahawks have been one of the better pass defenses in the league, allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers.

There is upside here with London likely out, but the downside has been so consistently down, that I’d rather not start Mooney in what is probably an important week of fantasy for most of us.
