Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the game of the week will feature the Kansas City Chiefs traveling to Western New York to battle the Buffalo Bills at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
The Bills ended a two-game skid last Sunday, going down to Charlotte and pummeling the Panthers in a 40-9 rout. Tight end Dalton Kincaid didn’t make a huge contribution in the big win and we’ll see if he can step up for the team in this major AFC showdown.
Below, we’ll go over Kincaid’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 9.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bills TE Dalton Kincaid
Kincaid caught just one pass for 23 yards in last Sunday’s victory over the Panthers. This was his second one-reception performance in the Bills’ last three outings and it’s been hard to gauge his involvement in the offense as of late. What we do know is that he has been arguably the most explosive pass-catching tight end this season, leading his position in yards per routes run and ranking second in ADOT. T
he third-year tight end’s fantasy viability, of course, is tied to just how many times Josh Allen decides to target him downfield. We’ll see how much they decide to lean on him in this critical showdown.
Start or sit in Week 9 PPR leagues?
Sit. The Chiefs have hemmed up opposing tight ends this season, yielding an average of just 4.4 fantasy points per game to the position. That doesn’t bode well for a tight end whose target share has fluctuated in recent weeks, so I’d opt to sit him down today.
