Colby Parkinson start or sit: Week 16 fantasy football advice

Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season will kick off tonight with a major NFC West battle for first place featuring the Los Angeles Rams visiting the Seattle Seahawks at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

The Rams officially secured a playoff spot with their 41-34 victory over the Lions on Sunday and can move a step closer to both the division crown and the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a win tonight. Tight end Colby Parkinson has been on a tear as of late and he’ll be a name to watch in tonight’s matchup.

Below, we’ll go over Parkinson’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 16.

Fantasy Football analysis: Rams TE Colby Parkinson

There hasn’t been a bigger tight end touchdown machine in the second half of the season than Parkinson and he continued his tear in the Rams’ touchdown victory over the Lions on Sunday. The veteran posted his best numbers of the season in this showdown of NFC playoff contenders, catching five of seven targets for 75 receiving yards and two second half scores that were critical for L.A.

That’s now six TD’s in the last six games for Parkinson and he proved on Sunday that he can be more than just an effective red-zone target. He punched in a critical fourth-quarter score in the Rams’ two-point victory over the Seahawks last month and we’ll see if he can come up big once again.

Start. Parkinson absolutely has the green light as an auto-start with his production in the back half of the regular season. On top of that, he may get a few extra targets with Davante Adams dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered in Sunday’s win. Jump on the Parkinson train if you haven’t already.
