Ciara is celebrating the release of her eighth studio album, “CiCi,” by making stops across the country, and she has made Converse sneakers an essential part of her new project’s promotional tour.

She went for a full-on pink monochrome look with a pair of soft pink Chuck 70 Canvas high-top sneakers in a light pink hue for an interview on the “Greg Street Show” at the Audacy Atlanta radio stations on Monday.
The Chuck Taylor All Star Canvas sneakers were born as a basketball shoe before becoming a staple in the sneaker world. The Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers feature a canvas upper that provides the classic Chucks look and feel, orthoLite cushioning that helps provide underfoot comfort, a diamond-pattern rubber outsole, with a Chuck Taylor ankle patch and All Star license plate.
Ciara’s unisex sneakers featured a high-top design, but they are also available in low-top and with a platform. The shoes are named after basketball player and coach Chuck Taylor, who was also a salesman for Converse.
She color-coordinated the sneakers with a pink Rosyne school shirt and matching shorts from French streetwear brand Rosyne Club. The set consisted of a loose-fitting, short-sleeved button-down with the brand’s logo on the chest and on the back in white. The shirt was paired with a baggy pair of knee-length shorts.

Ciara wore the same sneakers in a lighter shade of pink during her Los Angeles-inspired music video for her single “Dance With Me” featuring Tyga. In the video, she paired the pink shoes with another monochrome pink look. The singer makes various appearances throughout the video, dancing in other Converse sneakers, including a pair of the classic black and white pair. NBA star Russell Westbrook also makes an appearance in the video, wearing a pair of Chuck Taylors.
At the start of the video, Ciara is spotted wearing a hybrid of a Converse Chuck Taylor with Pleaser heels. The shoes featured a sneaker-like upper with a towering clear platform and a tall heel, which she showed off while dancing on top of a car.
Ciara released her new album “Cici” on Friday, and was spotted with her children in New York making various appearances. For that outing, she and her kids, Future Zahir Wilburn and Sienna Princess Wilson, sported Nike sneakers. The singer wore Nike’s Air VaporMax Plus in the “Triple Red” colorway, which was originally released in 2020 but has since moved to resale platforms.
