Ciara brought her fashion A-game to the US Open 2025 on Saturday, leveling up her outfit with chunky combat boots from R13. The shoes, which were decidedly the pièce de résistance of the “Goodies” singer’s look, retail for $1,575.

Joined by her husband Russell Wilson and the couple’s two children, Future Zahir and Sienna Princess, Ciara struck a pose on the blue carpet at the star-studded event, showcasing the bold combat boots. Made in Italy from handcrafted leather, the look features a lightweight stacked sole, offering comfort and durability, per the product description. The lace-up platform boots boast R13’s signature orange stitching all the way around the silhouette, as well as a zipper closure on the sides. In addition to black, the leather shoes come in a distressed brown design.
Ciara styled the boots with a flowy black shirt dress, which grazed her calves. She rolled up the sleeves, adding a bit of flair to the understated look. On the accessories front, the musician elevated the getup with a shiny gold chain necklace and coordinating watch, along with a structured black bag. Wilson, for his part, sported an all-black outfit featuring a fitted long-sleeve tee, straight-leg trousers and a baseball cap. The New York Giants quarterback laced up in Louis Vuitton’s black and white Rivoli sneakers.
Ciara is no stranger to combat boots, having worn a matte black pair for a performance on the “Today” show last month. The singer hit the stage in a look with a textured rubber sole, a rounded toe and an ankle-height shaft. Promoting her eighth studio album “Cici,” Ciara teamed the shoes with a black bustier featuring sheer panels and voluminous wide-leg pants.

To no surprise, the US Open 2025, which goes until September, is crawling with A-listers, including Queen Latifah, Simone Biles and Katie Holmes (just to name a few). In other words, this is far from the last high-style celebrity moment at this year’s tournament.
