Chelsea Clinton was among the distinguished guests who attended the opening night of “Mindplay” in New York City. The off-Broadway show stars Vinny DePonto, credited as using his “mind-reading” abilities to entertain audiences.
For the special occasion, Clinton opted for a muted gray look. The former first daughter wore a gray T-shirt dress with a crewneck neckline and cinched waist for added definition to the frock’s silhouette. The dress also included three-quarter-length sleeves.
The skirt of Clinton’s dress flared and featured subtle pleating, while the bodice was more fitted. When it came to her accessories, Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, favored few-to-no jewelry pieces.
As for her glam, Chelsea Clinton kept it clean and simple. She wore her hair naturally with soft waves and embraced a clean makeup style with a hint of bold eyes, defined brows and a glossy lip.
Clinton’s night out in New York City is among her first of 2025. The Clinton Foundation board member previously attended American Ballet Theatre’s fall gala last October. For the event, Clinton opted for a black gown with a belted waist, giving her little black dress moment added volume and definition.
One month prior to the ABT fall gala, Clinton joined her mother in New York City for the first day of the Clinton Global Initiative. At the event, Clinton and her mother coordinated their sartorial statements, wearing shades of purple that mimicked the color scheme of the event.
While Hillary Clinton favored one of her signature pantsuits, Chelsea opted for an Oscar de la Renta design with feminine touches. The midi dress included a belted waist and puffy sleeves. Frocks with a similar silhouette are among Clinton’s go-to styles. A cinched waist, flared skirt and longer sleeve is a style Clinton tends to gravitate toward, making it a signature part of her wardrobe.
