Caitlin Clark Ditches Her Heels for New Kobe Shoes at WNBA All-Star

Caitlin Clark swapped pumps for sneakers for the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

For the event, Clark — who is not playing due to a groin injury — arrived wearing a pristine pair of pointed-toe pumps that were likely from Prada, as that is her go-to brand for events and occasions.

A versatile option that works for many occasions, the shoes featured a pointed-toe design in the upper and a classic, sharp heel that ranged between 4-to-5 inches in height. A closed-back construction secured the foot in place, while a padded insole provided sufficient comfort. Adding to the comfort was a leather lining and insole for breathability.

As for her woman-in-power ensemble, she black belted shorts, a matching black blazer and a white collared Prada Milano shirt.

For the actual game, however, Clark debuted her brand new Nike Kobe 5 PEs, aka the Nike Kobe 5 Protro, in a midnight navy colorway with bright crimson and university gold accents.

Per Nike, the style “takes a great basketball shoe and makes it better,” as it’s engineered with a flexible Air Zoom unit and scaled-down traction for optimal court feel, and has a lightweight, minimally structured upper that is lightweight and supportive.

Additionally, Clark also just unveiled the Nike Kobe 6 Protro in a Cookie Monster-themed design that features a bright blue color pattern with matching fuzzy, Muppet-like laces, and a two-tone brown tongue that symbolizes a chocolate chip cookie.
