Brooke Shields hopped aboard fall’s shoe trend, hitting an Alice + Olivia party on Wednesday night in over-the-knee boots rendered in the sumptuous autumnal material. Held at Angel Orensanz in New York, the event celebrated the brand’s capsule collection with the Grateful Dead, honoring the band’s 60th anniversary.
The longtime model, who was joined by her 22-year-old daughter, Rowan Henchy, was snapped heading into the fête wearing tall boots that hit just above her knee. The leg-hugging shoes featured a pointed toe and a slim, kitten heel, elongating the silhouette. Shields brought the boots into evening territory, pairing them with sheer black tights, ideal for the dropping temperatures.

The understated black footwear grounded Shields’ head-turning tonal green ensemble. The focal point of her look was decidedly the tailored long coat, which boasted structured shoulders, gold buttons and military-inspired detailing. Shields teamed the jacket with its matching miniskirt, also adorned with shiny gold buttons. Underneath the outerwear, she wore a sweater in a slightly darker shade of green, adding visual intrigue. Her curly stands were incredibly shiny and bouncy, most likely courtesy of her Commence hair care products.

The entrepreneur’s daughter, meanwhile, opted for a leather-heavy ensemble. Henchy was outfitted in a form-fitting leather dress adorned with gold buttons, subtly coordinating with her famous mom. She styled the edgy number with a blazer in the same cold-weather fabric, finishing off with black suede pumps. A thick gold choker provided a dose of glamour to the look.

Shields was far from the only celebrity at the event last night — other notable guests included Brooks Nader, Nicky Hilton, Busy Philipps and Olivia Jade. Attendees enjoyed a co-branded menu featuring food from Gotham Burger, Le Botaniste, 12 Chairs, and Gelso & Grand, while listening to music from DJs Francesca Keller and Mia Moretti.
