Las Vegas Raiders fans are holding their collective breath right now, as standout tight end Brock Bowers has made his way to the medical tent for a second time in today’s game against the New England Patriots.
Bowers went to the tent a few plays after this 38-yard catch-and-run, where he carved through the Patriots defense on this crossing route, working right-to-left:
Replays from CBS showed Bowers come up limping two plays later. He went to the blue medical tent initially, then was spotted back on the sidelines trying to stretch out his leg.
He returned to the blue medical tent, and that is when sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala described Bowers trying to test the leg out on the Raiders’ sideline.
Bowers did not return to the game and afterwards, he told the media that he wanted to get back onto the field, but was denied by the Raiders’ training staff.
